depth to these type of cards. So get some scrap paper out and give it a try I think you will enjoy it.
Christmas Blessing
- Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede, and Whisper White card stock
- Bashful Blue, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip and Versa Mark ink
- Whisper White and clear embossing powder
- Lovely as a Tree, More Merry Messages and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets
- Embossing Gun and Stamp-a-ma-jig
Cut Soft Suede at 5 1/2 x 8 /12 (score at 4 1/4), Chocolate Chip at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8, Whisper White at 4 x 5 1/4. Starting on Whisper White card stock with Soft Suede ink stamp your background trees. Then with your markers color in your large pine tree and stamp it. now you will need a stamp-a-ma-jig stamp your large pine tree on it following the directions then with a clean stamp ink up with versa mark ink line up the stamp-a-ma-jig. Then with clear embossing powder heat emboss the tree. With Bashful Blue ink sponge in the sky, and with Crumb Cake ink sponge the ground. Using Chocolate Chip ink stamp the greeting. Last but not least with your Gorgeous Grunge stamp ink up with versa mark ink and stamp all over the sky re-inking between each stamp then with white embossing powder heat emboss for snow effect.
I get so much inspiration from everyone that this is probably a combination of about three cards that I really enjoyed, my suggestion to anyone that thinks some of these techniques look challenging just get some ink and a sponge and start playing you will be surprised how easy and how beautiful this technique can be.
Lovely Card!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Card! Can you share what techniques you used to make the
ReplyDeletecard. Would love to try this one!
I stamped background trees first then colored large tree stamp with markers. Used Stamp a ma jig to over stamp tree with versamark and used versamark with gorgeous grunge stamp for snow, with clear embossing powder and heat gun the effect was made. Then with daubers colored in sky and ground. and stamped saying last. Hope this helps.
