Very Merry Layout

Hello my fellow card makers, it has been a little while since my last post.  I have been out of town and working when in town.  This past weekend my BFF and I worked on some Christmas cards for our office to send out.  This one was super easy but really turned out well and I believe it is the simple layout that makes it so special.  I really hope that you all like it and remember that this can be adapted for any occasion or holiday.

Winter Flurry

  • Smoky slate, Whisper White, Pool Party paper
  • Pool Party, Smoky Slate and Versa mark Ink
  • DSP Winter Frost
  • Endless Wishes Photopolymer Stamp set
  • 2 1/2 Circle Punch
  • Silver glitter and Glue Pen
Directions
     Cut your Pool party paper 1 1/4 x 4 1/4, DSP 2 x 5 1/2, Smoky Slate 4 1/4 x 11(score @ 5 1/2).
on Pool party randomly stamp the two small snow flakes in Pool Party ink, then ink edges.  Ink edges of DSP.  Stamp snow flakes on whisper white in Pool Party, and words in Smoky Slate.  Ink edges of circle in Pool Party ink, then take glue pen and in center of each snow flake and on the ends of large  snowflake make a glue dot then sprinkle with glitter and tap off excess. Before assembly Take all thre snow  flakes and with versa mark ink stamp on right side of card as shown above.

Beachy Christmas

  • Cherry Cobbler, Brown Sugar, Very Vanilla cardstock
  • Brown Sugar and Cherry Cobbler ink
  • DSP Season of Style
  • Linen Thread
  • 2 1/2 circle punch
  • Wetlands Stamp Set
Follow the same directions as above except instead of glitter tie a bow out of linen thread and glue to a place on the circle you like.

This goes to show you how one easy layout can produce a differnt look with just different paper and color scheme. As always for any or all of the supplies contact my BFF  at her website on Stampin Up .http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/beckycrain/jointhefun.  Have a great week. Enjoy creating and please leave a comment if you have questions.
