Hello once again today I thought I would post a few cards that I just absolutely love. Both of these cards feature the beautiful Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies and paper from the Serene Scenery DSP stack. both of these cards inspiration came from pinterest they are just my interpretations of either layouts of other cards or color combos. I find I love to take some ones layout and use new colors and stamp sets to make it my very own. So I hope you like them and find your own inspiration.
Field of Dreams
Supplies Needed:
- Very Vanilla
- Serene Scenery DSP stack
- Dragonfly Dreams Photopolymer Bundle
- Versa Mark
- Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder
I used the video from pinterest https://www.pinterest.com/pin/224265256418449563/ to make the base of this card and then cut the DSP 1/8 inch smaller than the space to be covered. I cut the Dragon fly out of Very Vanilla card stock and then covered with versa mark ink and then Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder to heat emboss whole dragonfly, then also stamped saying with versa mark ink and Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder heat embossed the saying. I used dimensionals to adhere the dragonfly for dimensional effect. I truly hope you love this card as much as I do. It is a very simple I promise, but elegant effect.
Flight of the Dragonfly
Supplies Needed:
- Whisper White, Old Olive cardstock
- Serene Scenery DSP stack
- Vellum cardstock
- Dragonfly Dreams Photopolymer Bundle
- Old Olive ink
- Wink a Stella Clear
The card is5 1/2 x 4 1/4 base landscape orientation. The Old Olive mat is 5 x 2 3/8 and the DSP was cut at 4 7/8 x 2 1/4. I used the smaller dragonfly solid for the vellum and the detailed smaller dragonfly for the whisper white I used wink a Stella to cover the detailed dragonfly. I glued the two together with the fine-tip glue pen, and mounted it with dimensionals. I truly hope you love this card as much as I do. It is a very simple card with an elegant effect.
